Uganda National Oil Company (UNOC) has today contributed items towards the fight against the COVID-19 (Corona Virus disease) pandemic.
In accordance with its Safety-First core value, the institution has donated 33,200 examination gloves. The items will enhance the safety of medical personnel at the “frontline” of the pandemic.
UNOC Chief Executive Officer, Ms. Proscovia Nabbanja handed over the items to the Ministry of Health (MOH) Permanent Secretary, Dr. Diana Atwine at the ministry headquarters in Kampala.
According to Nabbanja, the medical personnel are in the high-risk category compared to other Ugandans, hence the donation.
